The first explorations was in an abandoned hotel after a fire in the 1980s.
The second exploration was in a paper mill, where the floor covered in permanent mud from the latest floods.
After and during a fire or flood, the landscape changes, takes different forms, transforming the territory to some extent. The first to escape and then return are always the insects. They are the first to repopulate the remnants of what nature has destroyed or took back.
